Slab Seeker Spoon – The Slab Seeker Spoon is the jigging spoon for both finicky and aggressive fish! The small flicker blades create a light jigging action that even the finickiest fish can’t resist. On aggressive fish, jig it aggressively for a great tail dancing action. Sizes 1"-1/16oz, 1¼"-3/32oz.
A buddy of mine was fishing in another shack and I went over to see how they were doing and he was catching a lot of "overs" on the Widow Maker Tungsten Slab Seeker Spoon with polka dot glow. 3/32oz. glow wonder bread and glow pink with purple dots. Westwind resort bait shop on upper red carried them and he grabbed a few up there.
Walleye fishing on Upper Red in early December I walked over to a shack that a couple buddies were fishing in and I noticed that one of the guys had on the slab seeker spoon and he was absolutely smashing some quality walleye with a minnow head attached to the treble. I laughed because I meant to buy some at the St. Paul ice fishing show and I forgot. He grabbed a few at west wind resort bait shop on Red Lake. Great bait shop BTW. glow wonder bread 3/32 oz and glow pink/purple dots were the ones he used. If you're heading to Red Lake I would definitely grab a few of these bad boys. They're a tad lighter than most might think for walleye but they get through the water fast and Red is obviously a shallower lake. Great bait from a great company!!
